The following example provides more information on how searches work in Micronet ECOM.

An online store sells the following items:

Technical Tip

When you enter more than one search term, e.g. "Texta Pen" or "Pen Texta" in the examples above, the default operator is "and" – that is, Micronet will search all the defined search fields and return all items that contain the words "texta" AND "pen" in one of those fields.

If you enter the "or" operator, e.g. "Texta or Pen" as shown above, Micronet will search all the defined search fields and return any items that contain the word "texta" OR the word "pen" in any of the search fields.

In other words, you can only search across more than one field if you use the "or" operator, but be aware that this can return a large number of search results.
